Drake Hits 83 Cents for US Spotify Wrapped 2026 as Bad Bunny Leads the World
More than $1.13 million has traded on the Kalshi US market. Drake is the heavy favorite at home. The global market has a completely different opinion.
The US prediction market for Spotify Wrapped 2026 has absorbed more than $1.13 million in trading. As of October 28, Drake is at 83 cents, Taylor Swift is at 11 cents, and Ella Langley is at 3 cents. The contract resolves when Spotify publishes the US chart in December. The global market published by OLBG lists Bad Bunny at 1/2 and Drake at 2/1. These are not close calls pointing in the same direction: they are opposite answers about the same event.
The gap has a simple explanation. Bad Bunny logged 19.8 billion global Spotify streams in 2025 and won the global Wrapped that year, his fourth title in six editions. At home in the US, his best finish is third place. His US Kalshi contract, per OddsShopper's August analysis, sat at 6 cents. Dominant globally. Invisible in the domestic market traders are pricing.
Drake's 2026 US streaming output is the reason for the gap. On May 15, he announced three studio albums, Iceman, Maid of Honour, and Habibti, the day before they arrived, then dropped all 43 tracks simultaneously. Iceman logged 140.2 million Spotify streams in its first 24 hours. Drake has finished in the global top five every Wrapped year on record and in second place on the US chart three years running, 2023, 2024, and 2025, losing to Taylor Swift each time. The 2026 volume is the argument for why this year is different.
1/2 about Bad Bunny is short but it's right as he's been the most consistent global Wrapped winner of the decade, and his 2025 numbers were emphatic. Taylor Swift at 5/1 is the bet if you believe new music is coming, but with no new album on the radar, that price is fair rather than generous.
What Taylor Swift Needs to Change the Number
Swift won the US Wrapped chart in 2023, 2024, and 2025, three consecutive years, while Drake finished second all three times. On the current US market she is at 11 cents, the same range she has traded all summer. The OddsShopper analysis puts that price plainly: her catalogue floor is real, her October 2025 album The Life of a Showgirl logged roughly 250 million global first-day streams, and the carryover into 2026 is real. At 11 cents, the market is pricing a scenario in which no new cycle arrives before the listening window closes.
Official Charts reported November 4 that Spotify confirmed November 6, 2026 as the deadline for artists to submit their Wrapped videos, a marker that in prior years has tracked closely with the end of the listening count period. Spotify counted streams from January through mid-November for the 2025 edition. If the same window applies in 2026, the listening count is effectively over in the next 24 to 48 hours.
Ella Langley, $571 Million in Streams, and 3 Cents
"Choosin' Texas" by Ella Langley spent more than 18 non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Hot 100 and accumulated roughly 571 million streams across platforms per Luminate's midyear report, making it the most-streamed US song of 2026. Kalshi traders have Langley at 3 cents. OddsShopper's model put her at 2.3%. The gap between her song performance and her artist contract reflects the structure of the chart: the Wrapped top-artist ranking measures total artist streams across all songs and albums, not the performance of a single track. Langley's catalogue is thin.
Search interest in "spotify wrapped 2026" reached a peak of 100 on Google Trends on November 3, 2026, the highest point of the year by the index's scale. As of November 5 the index reads 92, still near peak. With the release expected around December 2, the audience is already watching four weeks out.
Spotify has not confirmed a release date for Wrapped 2026. Official Charts, based on the December 3 date in 2025 and December 4 in 2024, identifies Wednesday, December 2 as the most likely date for this year. The Kalshi contract lists December 31 as its backstop. Whichever artist tops the US chart when Spotify publishes will also collect the kind of end-of-year press coverage that shapes playlist priority and label deal terms for the following year. That is why the market has $1.13 million on it.
